Chukka Boot

x

A lightweight ankle-high boot with open lacing and a more casual appearance. Its name is thought to derive from the game of Polo where a Chukker defines a period of play. Worn by the British forces in their desert campaigns of WW2 and made popular in the 1950s by Nathan Clark when he added a crepe sole and a suede upper.
